Quick Composition Tips
Centering the image (common mistake and the rule of thirds) *

-Horizontal vs Diagonal*
Horizons should be placed either one third up or one third down in an image. Keep it out of the middle.
Have a clear subject with a foreground, middle ground, and a background.
The universe also exists beyond your eye level. Capture multiple viewpoints. Move high, move low and everywhere in between*
Try framing an image with a window, a doorway, or tree branches. Framing can accentuate the subject. *
Use lines to draw the viewer in and this technique creates some perspective. *
